Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime Release Date, News & Update

Samsung is renovating their entry level Galaxy J5 and J7, adding "Pro" in the product line's name. Though adding the "Pro" tag in their latest devices, the prices are slashed a little and the specs are decent for a "level-entry" mobile device.

The importance of the smartphone is evident in the daily life, but not all the users want the cutting edge technology devices that cost a lot. That's why Samsung made the Galaxy J series and targeted those who are looking for a good phone but comes with a cheap price. The newest addition to the Galaxy J series is the Samsung Galaxy J3, J5, and J7. What's more interesting is that the Korean tech company is going to give it the "Pro" tag, which is only seen on the cutting edge devices that are usually the flagship models.

Leaks suggest that the J Series will have three "Pro" models: the J3 Pro, J5 Pro, and J7 Pro, as reported by The Star. The three models will be having a new design which includes sleek metal unibody, with J5 and J7 having a unique U0shaped antenna in the upper rear. These entry-level devices are so-called "entry level", but there is more truth in the term "mid-range" when it comes to specs.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro will be sporting a 5in HD display, 2GB or memory, and a 13-MP rear camera. A 2,400mAh battery will be powering the device. The J5 Pro is a 5.2in device with HD display ad 3,000mAh battery, 3GB memory, and 13 MP front camera. The J7 is almost the same, with 5.5in Super AMOLED full-HD display and 3,600mAh.

The most interesting part is the slash in the announced pricing. The j3 will remain at RM699 or $162, the J5 price was slashed for $12 and the J7 price was slashed for $23.26, as reported by Technave.
