YNB Entertainment Debunks Rumors Of Seungjun Leaving KNK
Rumors of member Seungjun leaving his idol group KNK has recently been going around. The said rumors apparently got out of hand and the group’s agency has stepped forward to address the matter.
YNB Entertainment has finally released an official statement and refuted all rumors claiming that Seungjun is planning to leave KNK. Rumor has it that Seungjun was going to part ways with the said boy group so he can focus on acting. However, on July 5, YNB Entertainment stated that there is no truth in any of the rumors. They have emphasized that Seungjun will not be leaving the group nor does he have plans to do so.
YNB Entertainment also released that KNK is busy preparing for an upcoming group come back. Seungjun, along with the rest of the members of the group, are currently busy filming for their new music video. The group’s company already announced that KNK is gearing up for another comeback within this month. KNK recently revealed their latest title track, “Sun.Moon.Star” in May, which is part of their album titled “Gravity”.
With YNB Entertainment stepping up to debunk rumors, some fans are even surprised that there was even a rumor about Seungjun leaving the group going around. One fan from reddit who goes by the username InfiniteSunshine3 explained that the rumor started some time ago but it originally claimed that member Heejun would be leaving the group and the rumors, given that it’s gossip, changed and even escalated to KNK getting a new member. The rumor about Heejun did not go out of hand because Heejun apparently personally addressed and refuted the rumors on their group’s official fan cafe.
KNK made their official debut in February 2016 through a special showcase. They then released their first single album “Knock” in March 2016. KNK was voted 38th most popular artist in 2016 out of 50 artists and has won various awards including K-pop Singer Award from Korean Culture Entertainment Awards in 2016 and Global Rookie Top 5 from Naver V Live Top 10 in 2017.
