LG earlier this month, launched its flagship smartphones LG G6 and LG G6 Plus in the South-Korean market. The company at that time did not provide any details regarding the device's pricing and availability. The company has now introduced the LG G6 and LG G6 Plus devices for purchase in the country.
While the LG G6 (32GB internal storage) is available for purchase at KRW 819,500 (approximately Rs 46,300); the LG G6 Plus smartphone is available for purchase at KRW 957,000 (approximately Rs 54,100). Both the smartphones, namely LG G6 (32GB internal storage) and LG G6 Plus are available in the South-Korean market through three carriers including the ones local to the country from Friday, 30th June onwards.
As noted by Gadgets 360, LG introduced three individual versions of the G6 and G6 Plus smartphones in the market at the time of the launch. The storage size and features of all the three versions were varying by nature. There were some smartphones that came equipped with wireless charging support and at the same time, there were many models that did not support the same. On one hand, the LG G6 comes only in 32GB internal storage variant, the latest LG G6 Plus smartphone comes with an upgraded 128GB internal storage. Moreover, the latter alongside wireless charging also packs high-fidelity quad-DAC feature in all its versions. In comparison to LG G6 Plus, the LG G6 (32GB internal storage) comes equipped with only half the inbuilt storage as the original version. Moreover, there are no such feature enhancements either.
Both the smartphones have similar specifications. The only difference being that LG has introduced fresh color variants in the versions that were launched recently. On one hand, the LG G6 (32GB internal storage) variant comes in: Non-Optical Terra Gold, Mystic White, and Non-Optical Marine Blue color options - the LG G6 Plus smartphones are made available in an Optical Astro Black, Optical Terra Gold, and Optical Marine Blue color options.
As far as the specifications of the smartphone is concerned, both the devices feature a 5.7-inch (1440 x 2880 pixels resolution) QHD+ Full-Vision display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. In comparison to its predecessor, the aspect ratio in the former devices is taller-than-usual. The devices are further powered by Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor. The devices go on to offer 4GB of RAM and the internal storage options have already been mentioned before. On the camera front, the smartphones pack a 13MP rear camera alongside a 5MP front snapper for selfie lovers.
