Korean company NCSoft plans to focus more in the mobile game segment in hopes to recover after the company's revenue declined in the third quarter of the current year. Korea Herald reported Wednesday that the game developer pledged to reinforce its global businesses particularly in the mobile gaming.

NCSoft chief financial officer Yoon Jae Soo announced in a press conference Wednesday that the company plans to hire an additional of up to 100 developers for its mobile game studio in Silicon Valley.

The recent announcement is among the company's programs to expand its business range in order to secure new sources of profits.

In addition, the Korean company has reportedly created a new development team within its studio in California. Develop Online noted Friday that the new team called Iron Tiger Studios will be a separate division consisting of three development teams and a self-contained mobile publishing group.

"NCSoft West is accelerating and the launch of Iron Tiger is a key step in enabling us to develop extraordinary and innovative games more rapidly and across more platforms," says Jesse Taylor, SVP of mobile at NCSoft West.

Taylor goes on, "We are looking for the best and brightest minds in all of gaming to become part of the Iron Tiger and NCSoft West teams."

Reports have revealed that the Korean company is now recruiting developers who wish to be part of the Iron Tiger Studios. Aside from that, the new studio plans to expand and hire over 100 new developers by the end of 2016.

On the other hand, sales of the Korean company fell 8 percent on-year during the third quarter of 2015. NCSoft recorded a profit of 196 trillion won in the previous quarter which is down 38 percent as compared to the same period in 2014.
