‘Bride Of The Water God’ Updates: f(x)’s Krystal Talks Chemistry With Nam Joo Hyuk, Gong Myung; Teases Interesting Character
The upcoming tvN drama "Bride of the Water God" will mark the small screen comeback of f(x)'s Krystal. Recently, the Kpop idol shared her preparations for her goddess character in the drama and even teased about Nam Joo Hyuk, Gong Myung and other cast members' chemistry with each other.
f(x)'s Krystal gave a candid interview during the press event for the upcoming drama "Bride of the Water God." Held on June 27, Tuesday, the Kpop idol talked about the camaraderie between the fantasy series stars specifically herself, Nam Joo Hyuk and Gong Myung. Given that the three castmates were born in the same year, the "Heirs" actress admitted that she looked forward to working with the two actors and expected their filming activities to be fun, Korean news outlet SportsWorldi quoted the songstress as saying.
The Kpop singer also commented on her unique role in the upcoming fantasy series "Bride of the Water God." Portraying the Goddess Mu Ra, f(x)'s Krystal described her character as an interesting woman. She even recounted her numerous practice sessions that she did to ensure that her actions, mannerisms, and way of talking will match her haughty goddess character.
In other news, the cast and crew of "Bride of the Water God" recently enjoyed a lavish feast sent by the Kpop idol's fans. f(x)'s Krystal even took to Weibo to thank her avid followers for their buffet treat and share photos of the sumptuous steak meal, All Kpop reported.
"Bride of the Water God" is the TV adaptation of the South Korean manga of the same name. Despite the drama's writing team revising some of the manga's storyline to fit the tvN series, the said production still followed some of the comic book's major plots and character list.
Apart from f(x)'s Krystal playing the Goddess Mu Ra, other mythical beings in the drama include Nam Joo Hyuk and Gong Myung who will portray the drama's titular water god Ha Baek and the wind god Bi Ryum, respectively. "Girl Who Sees Smell" actress Shin Se Kyung will play the doctor So Ah who was destined to become the water god's bride.
