However and unfortunately enough, the entertainment network hasn't revealed any details regarding the show's making yet.
According to a report published by IBTimes, "House of Cards" show-runners Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese have confirmed that the upcoming sixth season of the show will essentially revolve around the events that occur after Claire Underwood comes to power in the form of the president in the story-line. A lot is expected to take especially with regards to how the supporting characters perceive this major change. The show-runners further added by suggesting that Claire Underwood is expected to showcase highly professional skills by being ambition and working harder than ever before. Pugliese apparently said that now that Claire Underwood has become more ambitious by nature, complications especially surrounding her relationship with Francis has increased as well.
According to another report published by Den Of Geek, James Gibson also further went on to suggest that the fans of the show will learn a lot more about Claire Underwood in the upcoming season of 'House of Cards.' He has alerted the fans to fasten their seatbelts as there is going to be immense political drama in the upcoming show.
As far as Frank's plans are concerned, the show-runners suggested he is going to be seen exploring a new path while Claire focuses on the presidential elections. Pugliese was reported as saying that they wish to expand a little by exploring newer ways of power and especially the power outside the White House.
Unfortunately, while the plot was being immensely spoken about, the release date of the sixth season wasn't. If rumors are to believed then the show is going to premiere in the first week of July.
