Fans Of NU’EST & ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ Contestant Kang Dongho Show Support & Point Out Inconsistencies In Sexual Assault Accusation

Following the accusation made by an anonymous girl who claimed to be sexually assaulted by NU'EST member and 'Produce 101 Season 2' contestant Kang Dongho, many fans have shown support for the idol. Netizens have also pointed out inaccuracies and inconsistencies in the girl's sexual assault story.

The girl claims to be a victim of NU'EST member Kang Dongho in an original post in May. In her original post, she says the sexual assault happened 7 years ago when she was 14 and Dongho was 15. However, fans pointed out that 7 years ago, Dongho already moved to Seoul for his training in Pledis, which means he has already left Jeju by that time. The accuser claims the sexual assault happened back in Jeju, Dongho's hometown. When the girl decided to post right in time for the finale of 'Produce 101 Season 2', netizens found it fishy.

Now in a newer post, the girl changes her story and claims this happened 8 years ago when initially she said it was 7 years ago. In the previous post, she stated that in the bus where it happened, her brother was sitting next to her but in the recent post, she now says no one was beside her during the sexual assault. Moreover, in the girl's original post, she claims Dongho went to the same middle school as her in Jeju but netizens stipulated that the NU'EST member has gone to train in Pledis during that time, and went to Seoul Okjeong Middle School. When asked why she only posted the accusation now instead of calling the police 8 years ago, she says it's because she was sick of seeing his face on 'Produce 101 Season 2'.

When fans tried to call the number on the screenshots she posted which supposedly belongs to Kang Dongho, an old man answered, grumpily asking why so many numbers have been calling him. The accuser has posted a screenshot of her alleged SMS convo with the NU'EST member as well, where she confronted him about his sexual assault but fans noticed that she had 57% battery at 1:27 AM, then at 1:28AM, which she claims was on the same day, her battery was now at 40% - an impossible occurrence, according to netizens. The glaring inconsistencies in her stories have now made fans dubious if the accusations are indeed authentic. Meanwhile, 'Produce 101 Season 2' fans and NU'EST fans alike voiced out support for Dongho, saying, "I trust you, Oppa!" and "Stay strong Kang Dongho!"
