Music streaming site Mnet.com revealed Busker Busker's hit song entitled "Cherry Blossom Ending" as South Korea's top favorite song since the streaming site was established nine years ago.

Korea Times reported Nov. 4 that the song was named as the country's favorite song from local artists after Mnet gathered streaming and download tally from the site's launching on October 23, 2006 until October 22 of the current year.

Reports have revealed that "Cherry Blossom Ending" became a hit in South Korea after it was released in March 2012. After which, the Busker Busker hit was branded as "Spring Carol" for its recognition with music lovers during spring season.

All Kpop noted Mar. 17 that the famous song has proven "to stand the test of time" as it once again became number one in several music charts three years after it was released.

Further reports have revealed that "Cherry Blossom Ending" had always topped the music charts every spring since it was launched, surpassing newly released songs.

Busker Busker is a South Korean indie band which was known for their runner-up act in the third installment of the Korean music audition television show called Superstar K3 under Mnet. The band was given the chance to be on the Top 11 of the contest after a band dropped out from the show.

Busker Busker released their first album entitled "Busker Busker 1st album" on March 29, 2012. Their debut album includes "Cherry Blossom Ending," "Spring Wind," "First Love" and eight other tracks.

In addition, "Busker Busker 1st album" was well-received by music lovers and sold more than 50,000 copies during its first three weeks in the market.

A year after the success of their first album, Busker Busker launched their second album in September 25, 2013. The album is composed of nine tracks which topped different music charts including Bugs Chart, Melon Chart, Mnet and a lot more.
