Nokia 9 To Launch Next Month; Will Pack 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 SoC
HMD Global-backed Nokia is expected to take the wraps off its Nokia 9 smartphone next month or probably in August. The upcoming device - which is speculated to fall in the high-end category - will be competing directly with other major smartphone manufacturers including Apple's iPhone 8 and Google's Pixel 2 smartphone.
According to a report published by PC Advisor, the Nokia 9 smartphone is speculated to launch next month or perhaps in August. The device was recently even spotted on benchmarking website, Geekbench thereby revealing all its key details as well. As per the information provided on the website, it seems like Nokia 9 has already be authorized by the official regulatory agency. The device - which is carrying the model number, 'TA-1004' is expected to come packed with highly-advanced features and an impeccable design as well.
On the storage front, according to a report published by Gizbot, it is safe to assume that there will be two storage variants coming with the device. The smartphones will either pack 6GB of RAM or 8GB of RAM and the prices of the same will vary accordingly as well. The device will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 chipset.
Apart from that, the Nokia 9 smartphone has been reported by BGR to be carrying a 5.5-inch QHD OLED display with Corning Gorilla protection. On the camera front, the smartphone is expected to pack a 22MP rear camera along with a 12MP front snapper for selfie-lovers. If rumors are to be believed then the smartphone will house a massive 3,800mAh battery and will probably run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update as well. On the connectivity front, the smartphone will offer Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G capabilities among other basic amenities. Other highlights of the device include its Quick Charge 4 technology support, Zeiss optics, and a fingerprint sensor as well.
