Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus Spotted Online; Full Specs Revealed
Chinese company Xiaomi is apparently working on a successor to last year's Mi 5 smartphone. Dubbed as 'Xiaomi Mi 6' smartphone, the company seems to be busy with the production of the same off-late. Alongside, Xiaomi is also expected to introduce a newly-designed phablet called 'Mi Max 2,' as well. Now, a new online report that claims to be carrying a few leaked images of the rear panel of the Mi 6 smartphone, has emerged online.
The Chinese tech giant has also apparently begun work on the Plus variant of the upcoming Mi 6 smartphone. According to a report published by Gadgets 360, the heavily-speculated Mi 6 Plus smartphone was also recently spotted on China's 3C certification website earlier this year. As per the information provided on the website, the upcoming smartphone bore MDE40 model number. The same report further goes on to suggest that the device will be introduced sometime this year; however, the exact date still remains unknown.
As mentioned previously, alleged images of the upcoming Mi 6 Plus smartphone were spotted online recently. According to a report published by GizChina, which carries these leaked images, the rear shell of the upcoming Mi 6 Plus smartphone is going to be similar to Mi 6 smartphone. Moreover, a dual rear camera setup is located on the top-left corner of the screen along with LED flash. The company logo is clearly visible to be situated on the bottom of the screen. What is even more interesting is that the device is not expected to come with a rear camera.
Other rumored specifications of the Mi 6 Plus smartphone include a 5.7-inch display (1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 2.45GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 540 GPU along with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
