Last Sunday at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017, Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox One X, formerly known as Project Scorpio based on past leaks. Now, despite being tagged by many as Microsoft's most powerful console ever, it fails to deliver on one thing, virtual reality.

Last Monday, Xbox marketing chief Mike Nichols stated that the Xbox One X won't be supporting VR. The reasoning behind this is that their team believes VR is much more suited on PC, rather than being enabled in a gaming console. "The opportunity on PC is larger because the install base is larger and we think the customer experience will be better on PC," he shared in his interview with the Wall Street Journal.

Even though Xbox One X lacks VR technology, it looked very promising in its debut last Sunday at E3. Introducing a new technique dubbed as supersampling. This enables 1080p displays to have a richer and better on screen resolution while playing 4K titles.

On other news, Microsoft's new Xbox One X will be made available on November 7, 2017, and these are the games that are confirmed to be exclusively playable on the Xbox One X. "Crimson Skies," "Crackdown," "Sea of Thieves," and "Forza Motorsport 7."

"We showed Crackdown, which looks fantastic. It's going to be there on launch day for Xbox One X, which will be a great showcase for the box. Obviously Sea of Thieves." Xbox boss Phil Spencer told Eurogamer. In the interview, he also revealed that Xbox One X fans would be able to enjoy 22 more Xbox exclusive games within the next 3 years.
