‘Total War: Warhammer 2’ Update: Expected To Release At E3, Creative Assembly Announced Free DLC Called ‘Old Friends’
Creative Assembly is working to mesmerize the fans with "Total War: Warhammer 2" which can be expected to release at the Electronic Entertainment Expo happening next week in Las Vegas. The developers have even announced free DLC which can be called as the "Old Friend" update.
In a press release last week, Creative Assembly has released a roster update that included many interesting facts about the High Elves. The developers revealed that the High Elves are an elite force who, warrior-for-warrior can outmatches almost any other race in the Warhammer World. The force is even expected to be included in the "Total War: Warhammer 2."
In a recent blog, the developers have announced a free downloadable content which is called as "Old Friend." The free DLC can be compared to the "Blood Knight" free-LC release for the game. Creative Assembly stated that they know there is some excitement, but it is just a small thing that they wanted to do.
Creative Assembly has credited the E3 by saying that the event gave them the chance to do something, so they took it. With this statement, it can be speculated that the developers are all set to launch "Total War: Warhammer 2" at this E3 conference happening next week. Besides, it is also possible that the developers might release the free DLC along with the sequel or just release the free DLC only.
Creative Assembly even stated that this will not be the last DLC to be released for the game, but the developers are seeking more opportunities for launching innovative content through DLCs for "Total War: Warhammer 2" in near future.
The developers have stated that the "Total War: Warhammer 2" fans can expect a new set of unique gameplay mechanics that will come along with a small update to the main game and a free DLC pack. They added that they have been thinking about what sort of content could be added to the first game. They have hit on something they think is a pretty good opportunity to add some more content to the game.
