Avid fans of the "Kingdom Hearts" gaming franchise were given a treat when Square Enix unveiled a teaser clip for the upcoming game "Kingdom Hearts 3" during a music event. The said promo unveiled several interesting information including the timelines for a new preview video reveal at the D23 Expo 2017.

Lucky attendees of the "Kingdom Hearts" Orchestra World Tour concert held in Los Angeles were the first to witness the latest teaser clip for the upcoming game "Kingdom Hearts 3." The more than two-minute preview, as obtained by Polygon, featured a glimpse at beloved characters such as Sora, Donald, and Goofy as they battle some of the game's villains namely the Heartless.

The said "Kingdom Hearts 3" clip also displayed Sora various fighting moves, magical attacks, and Keyblade actions. Set in a Herculean world, it also revealed the said protagonist's new form, as well as a cool new tandem move with Goofy that launched Sora up in the air for a massive attack. One of the new interesting attacks even had the two characters floating high up before Sora flung Goofy to the ground in a deadly blast move.

However, one of the intriguing information teased in the said preview video hinted at Roxas' potential return to "Kingdom Hearts 3." The said character served as Sora's Nobody and even became an antagonist in one of the said gaming franchise's previous installments. Moreover, it seems that Sora may need to tap into his dark side given what Xemnas stated in the clip where he told the said protagonist to "call upon the darkness."

Meanwhile, Square Enix also confirmed the said game's appearance at Disney's upcoming D23 Expo 2017. The game developer announced through the latest "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer that they will unveil a new promo clip on July 15 that will feature one of the said title's new worlds.

In other news, "Kingdom Hearts 3" was identified as one of the highly-anticipated games in Japan. In a recent chart listing posted on Famitsu, as cited by Nintendo Everything, the said game landed at number six with 409 votes while the PS4 and 3DS versions of "Dragon Quest 11" nabbed the top two spots with 1,129 and 935 votes, respectively.
