‘GTA 6’ Release Date Rumor: Next Franchise Scheduled For 2020, Rockstar Hiring Developers For Next-Gen Systems, Tokyo Might Be the Next Location
"GTA 5" was an instant hit because of its multiplayer feature. Rockstar is concentrating on providing better gaming experience through multiplayer feature in "Red Dead Redemption 2." But it cannot be said that Rockstar has neglected the development of "GTA 6" as they are making constant efforts to innovate something new for the players.
According to the reports coming from TechRadar, Rockstar was making reference trips to Tokyo. It can be expected that the developers are interested in locating Tokyo as the next location in "GTA 6." The developers had taken pictures, road maps, observed citizens and noted many other minute local elements of the city.
The fan can expect "GTA 6" as the "Grand Theft Auto: Tokyo" as the developers are busy researching the city. Although it can be said that the next location for the game will be Tokyo, Rockstar has admitted that it is hard for them to develop a game location outside the US. As the developers are struggling to create the location outside the US, the crime series enthusiastic just couldn't expect the game as early as 2020.
A recent report disclosed that Rockstar is looking for an engine developer for the next generation of gaming console. It can be expected that it is an exciting opportunity for the developers to create cutting edge architecture and high-performance systems for current and next generation platforms like Nintendo Switch. This hits that a new engine might be in work and if it will not be used for "Red Dead Redemption 2," then surely it will be utilized for "GTA 6."
It is obvious that the developers are delaying the release of "GTA 6" in order to provide high-end gaming experience. Previously, it was also speculated that the developers are concentrating on "Red Dead Redemption 2," as the game is expected to release this fall. The developers wanted to incorporate the multiplayer feature in order to make the game as successful as the "GTA 5." On the other note, "GTA Online Gunrunning" is also in its early stage of production.
