Intel unveiled the latest Core i9 processor last week. The Core i9 series seemed to be the big chance for the PC builders who wanted to build powerful computers within the reach of ordinary consumers. But Intel's 18 cores and 32 threads chips didn't go well with some of the enthusiastic consumers.

The reports are coming from BGR which has stated that the eminent PC builders are not so happy with Intel's Core i9 processors. Intel failed to meet the exact requirements of PC makers such as Linus Tech Tips. It seems that Intel has hastily launched the Core i9 processors and motherboards.

Intel Core i9 buyers will have to buy Intel motherboards and Intel's solid state drive, which is not in the interest of PC makers. In order to provide the faster processing experience, Intel has operated its processors with Intel's motherboards and SSDs. Although it is an advantage for high-end desktop, it will be going to increase the cost of production for the PC builders.

In another report, it is claimed that Intel's Core i9 launch is the response of AMD's Rzyen Threadripper. The reports even allegedly stated that the launch is hastily conducted in order to prevent AMD Ryzen Threadripper from reaching the market. AMD has declared a head-to-head competition with its upcoming Ryzen Threadripper and it seems that AMD has potentials to grab the PC market through its innovative, affordable and high-end processors.

AMD has launched its Ryzen Threadripper series which is quite affordable than Intel Core i9 series. With the reduced price and innovative technology, AMD has started gaining potential PC market share by reaching Dell and HP laptops. Recently, Apple has even unveiled MacBook Pro embedded with AMD Radeon Pro 560.

When it comes to performance, AMD is even offering 52% higher performance when compared to Intel Core i9 processors. Intel has to adopt new design methodologies in order to rebuild its PC market share.
