New Teaser For XBOX Scorpio Contains Secret Messages About Its Performance And Release Date
This image from Microsoft's new trailer of XBOX Scorpio has been subject to a lot of scrutinies and careful examination, from people all over the internet. Although it might not look cryptic, the image contains a weird element that cannot be explained easily. The trailer is 16 seconds long and contains a montage of shots in order to make it look interesting. One of the shots is a Ferris wheel in a carnival setting.
This image shows the Ferris wheel shot clearly. If you notice on the tent that is on the bottom left of the image, you will see '6 > 4' written on the top of the tent. Many people including me believe that this is Microsoft calling out Sony for their PlayStation 4 Pro because the Microsoft XBOX Scorpio is known to have performance power of 6 teraflops while the PlayStation 4 Pro has only 4 teraflops of performance. This explains the '6 > 4' that is written on top of the tent.
Secondly, another teaser contains a hidden message that might just be more cryptic than the last one, and a lot more revealing. This teaser was posted on the XBOX UK Facebook page, in order to tease the arrival of the new XBOX Scorpio. Just like the previous one, this trailer is also 16 seconds long and is basically another montage of different shots.
One of the shots depicts a series of numbers and letters, that have been arranged in front of a crowd. The numbers read 'X10S101-317', and many suspect that it could be a reference to the XBOX's release date. The 'X10S' is supposed to be the alleged model number of the console while '101-317' refers to the release date of Friday, the October 13th, 2017.
Microsoft has been feeding the XBOX hype train for quite some time now, and it will be interesting to see what the company announces at the annual E3 press conference.
