BTS Fans Unite To Get Group Nominated For 2017 Teen Choice Awards; DNCE Interested In Collaboration
This year continues to look good for BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, as fans flock to give the boys a shot at another international award. Their fans are reportedly doing their best as of this moment to get the group nominated for the upcoming 2017 Teen Choice Awards.
The Teen Choice Awards is an annual event that recognizes various artists and productions all over the world. It celebrates the achievements attained in the various fields of the entertainment industry such as music, television, film, and fashion. The nominations for the said awards show has finally opened and there are tons of categories revealed.
With the nominations opened, BTS fandom called ARMY has swooped in immediately to give the Korean pop group a chance to win another award. Their fans have swarmed social media nominating BTS for the various categories including ones under music and dancing. The hashtag TeenChoice continues to trend worldwide on Twitter with hopes that various nominations from different fandoms get in.
Meanwhile, American dance rock band DNCE revealed their interest in possibly working with BTS in the future. The statement from the band came as a response to a fan’s tweet after DNCE announced that they were gearing up for something soon. DNCE posted on their official Twitter account that they love BTS and they would want to do a collaboration with the group any day.
BTS made their official debut in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment but it was not until last year that the boys started to get recognition for their unparalleled talent. The Korean pop boy group gained international attention when they attended the recent Billboard Music Awards show and even won the Top Social Artist award, which Justin Bieber had won for seven consecutive years. If BTS gets nominated in the 2017 Teen Choice Awards, they will be flying off to Los Angeles in August to attend the event.
