Well-known torrent websites have many enemies. The enemy entity is not limited to government organizations that are constantly looking for ways to slap policies across these torrent owners or the technology giants that are patenting technology to help eradicate the internet of piracy but also other competitors who want to do just as well. On a similar note, Napster Sean Parker is reported to cause a lot of trouble for torrent website owners. It is widely reported that he is going to introduce his new project called Screening Room that will take on everything that torrent websites have to offer.

According to a recent online report, Napster founder Sean Parker is planning on introducing his pet project Screening Room, which will offer viewers with the experience of watching a film on the same day as it's release. In other words, viewers will be able to watch a film at the convenience of their homes. The deal essentially includes anti-piracy measures and it's ironic because Sean Parker started off in the industry by offering free digital music illegally.

Users will have a time-frame of 48 hours to ensure the use of any film hired on Screening Room. The price of any service would start at $50 and the prices are subject to change, in case any changes have been applied. The latest project by Sean Parker has caused a ruckus in the movie industry, especially the content producers. They are of the opinion that the movie industry is headed for doom if such pet projects keep appearing and stealing their limelight away from them.

However, Sean Parker has assured them that their content is in safe hands. He reportedly feels that it is better that their movies appear on Screening Room, instead of torrent websites like The Pirate Bay or Torrents.edu, that offer movies for free. He has said that he has specifically ensured that he comes up with Screening Room piracy-proof.
