Millions of fans are now enthusiastic for the impending release of "The Winds of Winter" book even if it has already been pushed back for countless times already. Now, new reports are claiming that the sixth book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series is confirmed delayed since George RR Martin has other things to focus on.

Blasting News reported that "The Winds of Winter" might not be able to make it on the expected release date again since George RR Martin is currently busy with other things. According to the news outlet, the 68-year-old writer will be busy working on the scripts of the up and coming five "Game of Thrones" spinoffs.

Aside from that, George RR Martin is also working on the StageCoach Foundation, which is his project to help the novice filmmakers from his hometown. There have been speculations stating that "The Winds of Winter" author is going to ask the help of his professional friends to help and train them, Poor Primadonna shared.

Because of this, reports about another "The Winds of Winter" release postponement have made rounds again. Rumors claimed that the New Mexican writer has planned to publish the book this year as it has already been seven years since he first confirmed writing the much-anticipated novel.

Meanwhile, there are also speculations stating that George RR Martin is not in good terms with the creators of the "Game of Thrones" series. According to rumors, the veteran novelist has been frustrated after David Benioff and Dan Weiss featured a lot of spoilers in the finale episode of "GoT" Season 6.

After that, George RR Martin has decided to stop writing "The Winds of Winter" and confirmed, last year, that he would not be able to finish the book on the expected release date. "Believe me, it gave me no pleasure to type those words. You're disappointed, and you're not alone," the "A Song of Ice and Fire" author stated.

George RR Martin has yet to announce the official "The Winds of Winter" release date. Stay tuned to Korea Portal for the latest news and updates about the up and coming "The Winds of Winter" book!
