Microsoft Unveils New Devices Powered By Windows 10

One of Microsoft's most anticipated projects already seems to be facing issues. The company was expected to launch its much-awaited Surface Book 2 by the end of June, however; there are several reports online that suggest that the new laptop device is not ready to be introduced in the market as yet.

According to a recent report published by Express, there is a rumor taking the round that suggests that Microsoft is going to press ahead without the device. In other words, the Redmond-giant might be showing off another device instead of the Surface Book 2.

This news information first appeared on ZDNet, which quoted a source close to the Microsoft project as saying that the company will continue to hold the hardware-launch event in the next couple of weeks, however; they won't be showing off their Microsoft Surface Book 2 device. Instead, the company might launch a new type of Surface Book altogether. The company has long been rumored to be working on a next-gen device that maybe ditching the traditional detachable tablet in preference for a classic clamshell design.

Microsoft is also expected to introduce its new and revamped version of its Holo Lens headset that will run parallel to Surface Studio device. On the contrary, there are several other reports that claim that the upcoming device has already entered production and that Microsoft has decided to stick to the 13.5-inch display specification for the Microsoft Surface Book 2 along with the magnesium-aluminium alloy body.

As far as the price of the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is concerned, the device is expected to carry a price tag of around $1,000, which is way more than what the predecessor cost.  The device is now expected to launch at an event in October 2017. However, no official confirmation has been released as yet.
