A Few EXO-Ls Hold Balloon Event To Show Support For Only 5 EXO Members
EXO-Ls are enraged after getting word that some EXO-Ls held a balloon event to show that they only support 5 members of EXO. The said event was held at EXO's concert in Seoul at Jamsil Stadium, where they wrapped up their EXO'rDIUM tour.
These EXO-Ls, who are apparently from DC Inside EXO Gallery, gathered together for an 'EX5' event at EXO's concert. They brought their balloons at the venue, showing the logos of 'EX5', 'We Are 5NE', and 'EX5rDIUMdot'. It was in the guise of a 5-year anniversary project, but fans at the concert were quick to pick up what it obviously meant. The balloon project was allegedly funded by fans who only supported the 5 members of EXO who didn't have a scandal. They excluded members Baekhyun, Kai, and Chen, who all had dating scandals. They also excluded Lay, who has been promoting solo overseas and has been quite absent in a lot of EXO's activities.
Despite this incident, EXO held a very successful encore concert. The hashtag #EXOrDIUMdotinSEOUL even trended worldwide. Back in March, it was announced that EXO will end their EXO'rDIUM tour in Seoul at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, otherwise known as Jamsil Olympic Stadium. The group will hold 2 encore concerts on May 27 and 28. Their third tour, EXO Planet #3 - EXO'rDIUM started last year on July 22 and is set to officially finish today.
Only a few artists have been able to fill the Jamsil Olympic Stadium. Big names like Seo Taiji, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, and G.O.D. are a few of the well-renowned acts who performed at the huge venue. But EXO was able to gather thousands of EXO-Ls to fill the stadium with their final EXO'rDIUM show. Fans tweeted videos and photos of the amazing ocean of people at the concert. An EXO-L posted a video of a panoramic view of the stadium where thousands of lightsticks illuminated. Her caption reads, "The whole Jamsil Stadium is filled with this breathtaking and beautiful rainbow ocean by EXO-Ls."
