Wireless Pads By 8Bitdo Now Compatible With Nintendo Switch After Firmware Update
A new firmware by 8Bitdo enables a selection of their lineup of wireless gamepads to work with the new Nintendo Switch. The firmware updates for the wireless pad at version 4.0 enables the gamepads to be compatible with Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, only a selected few wireless gamepads have received the updates, namely SC30, FC30 Pro, NES30, NES30 Pro, SFC30, and SNES30. Apart from this lineup, all other controllers are incompatible with the Nintendo Switch.
In case you have one of the wireless gamepads available with you, you will need to download and update the firmware on your 8Bitdo wireless controller. After updating the firmware, you will need to sync the gamepad to your switch. The firmware comes with instructions to sync the 8Bitdo controller to your device, reducing any kind of confusion.
Many people around the world have tested 8Bitdo's new firmware update along with their gamepads and switch and have reported positive experiences. 8Bitdo's gamepads feel responsive and very tactile. You can easily enjoy games like Metal Slug, Ultra-Street Fighter etc.
8Bitdo's gamepads are excellent accessories and will remind you of older gaming consoles like the SNES and NES. Nintendo plans to roll out a virtual console this year and these wireless pads would be the perfect addition to that combo. The 8Bitdo wireless pads are compatible with all Bluetooth devices out there including PCs, Macs, Tablets and even smartphones.
So, if you haven't bought one already, I highly suggest that you check out their lineup of classic wireless gaming controllers from their website.
