Build Series Presents Travis Fimmel And Linus Roache Discussing 'Vikings'

"Vikings" Season 5 is one of the most anticipated shows of 2017. "Vikings" fans can attest to the fact that the Norse heroes of the show have caused enough racket to instill the feeling of wanting more after each season ends. History channel entertainment is primarily known for pushing documentaries as a package to educate as well as entertain its users; however, whether History decides to renew the drama series "Vikings" in the near future is still a question that remains unanswered.

According to a report published by Den of Geek, it appears like History has apparently confirmed an order for 'Vikings' show-runners to work on another season with 20 episodes. If reports are to be believed, then "Vikings" Season 5, comprising of 20 new episodes will probably make a comeback in the summer of 2017. The same report goes on to suggest that Adam 'Edge' Copeland of the WWE-fame is also expected to be a part of "Vikings" Season 5.

As also reported by IBTimes, Adam Copeland will be seen reprising the role of Ketill Flatnose in the upcoming season of "Vikings." Ketill Flatnose will be an integral part of "Vikings" Season 5 as his character is described as being fierce, brave and of the kind that holds the potential of leading one of the Vikings parties single-handedly.

As noted by Bustle, the fourth season of "Vikings" witnessed the debut of Jonathan Rhys Meyers of The Tudors fame. He was seen playing the role of Heahmund, a craved but deeply religious character that holds the potential of possibly altering the future of the Vikings group. If rumors are to be believed, then Jonathan Rhys Meyers will very much be a part of "Vikings" Season 5.

TV Guide published a report that suggests that the production of "Vikings" is set to begin this summer. While there is no detail as to when the show will be launched, experts believe that it will be on-screen by November 2017.  Stay tuned for more "Vikings" Season 5 updates.
