Redmond-giant Microsoft has long been speculated to be working on its next line-up of Surface Book 2. The company is expected to take the wraps off its much-anticipated device anytime this year. Given the fact that the company had launched its Surface Book i7 towards the end of 2016, it is highly possible that the same might be pulled off this year as well.

According to a report published by IBTimes, the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to come packed with the latest Intel Kaby Lake processor that will enable fast processing and consume lesser power. Moreover, the display feature of the speculated device is especially expected to receive a major overhaul and may even be equipped with a 4K display.

Another report published by Tech Radar suggests that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 might be released towards the end of 2017. As mentioned previously, Microsoft introduced its Surface Book i7 in October of 2016, therefore, on the basis of their tradition, it is safe to assume that they might follow the same footsteps as performed last year. Although, there have been no such indications that can support the above-given statement from the side of the company.

As per what The Verge had to report, the laptop is expected to pack a 13.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 3,000 x 2,000 pixels. Moreover, along with Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor, the device might even be embedded with an Intel HD graphics 520 GPU as well. The laptop should ideally pack a good battery as it is rumored to support 4K content as well. There is no word on the pricing of the Microsoft Surface Book 2 yet. Stay tuned for more Microsoft Surface Book 2 updates.
