There are several reports surfacing online that suggest that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 might be delayed. A new rumor suggests that while the production of the cartoon series for the third season has already begun, however; show creator Dan Harmon has apparently caused a delay to the expected schedule.

According to a report published by Den Of Geek, even Dan Harmon acknowledged the fact that the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has been off-track as far as the schedule has been established. The report goes on to quote Harmon as saying that since 'Rick and Morty' is an animated production TV show, it is essential that all the details of the show are noted down on the paper. Apart from that, he went on to state that since there is more than one writer working on jotting out the future plot of the show, there are a lot of disagreements taking place and that seems to be causing further delay.

Moreover, according to several other reports, the writers of the show are claiming that they are already done writing down the storyline for the third season of "Rick and Morty." In fact, they support this statement by claiming that the opening scene has already been released on Adult Swim Australia and that they are already done with their jobs. They further went on to state that the work has been forwarded to the animation team members of the show and it is them who are responsible for ensuring that the complete production meets its deadline before the stated June release of the show.

To recall, "Rick and Morty" Season 2 ended on a rather cliff-hanging note. Fans are expecting to receive several questions as to what will take place. However, none of the above information has been confirmed by any official authorities yet.
