Seventeen Wows Audience With New Image In Comeback Showcase

2017 is really starting to look like it's indeed Seventeen's year. After the success of 'Boom Boom' at the end of 2016, the 13-member group's comeback has been highly anticipated. S.coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, Mingyu, The8, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino are releasing their 4th mini album, 'Al1' on May 22.

Seventeen is known for their energetic, cheerful songs about innocent love but according to the group, their upcoming single 'Don't Wanna Cry' will be a sad song with an EDM beat.  The 4th mini-album will feature 8 tracks which the members took part in composing and producing. Individual music video teasers of the members have been released each day starting May 10. Fans of the group went crazy over the cryptic and ominous teasers that involved numbers and hidden meanings. The music video, including the teasers, was reportedly shot in several locations in Los Angeles, California. Judging from the teasers alone, this comeback will be notably different from anything Seventeen has previously done.

Following the release of 'Al1', Seventeen will hold a comeback showcase on May 23 at the Olympic Park in Olympic Hall. The ticket selling was held on May 18 and tickets were instantly sold out in just 3 minutes. It's important to note that the 4,000 seats were limited to Seventeen official fan club members only and each ticket buyer was only allowed 1 purchase.

Aside from a comeback, Seventeen is also slated to go on their first world tour this year. The group's agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced that Seventeen will hold their first ever world tour titled '2017 Seventeen 1st World Tour: Diamond Edge' starting July 14, kicking off the first show in Seoul. The self-producing idols will make stopovers in 12 cities across the globe including Chicago, Dallas, New York, Toronto, Saitama, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Taipei, Singapore, and Manila.
