The most anticipated smartphone of 2017 HTC U 11 has finally been revealed, and it seems to be standing up to the fan's expectations. In fact, the smartphone is already being considered as a better than incredibly popular Google Pixel, which has also received critical acclaim.

According to India Today, HTC U 11 is the latest flagship by HTC with a new design, which is a successor to its 2016 HTC 10. The phone contains all the strong points of the company that includes outstanding audio quality, an innovative design, sleep user interface and solid hardware, available at a brilliant price of $649. HTC has made a long jump in DxO mark, scoring 90 with its latest release on the popular photography website, which indicates it offers a better camera than Google Pixel with 89 points.

In a post by BGR, HTC U 11 has already become an unprecedented winner among most smartphones released recently. The phone not only takes the crown from Google Pixel for the best camera but also providing tough competition to its formidable enemy Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus along with Sony Xperia who scores 88 points each.

DxO Mark also mentioned that HTC U 11's 12 MP Ultrapixel 3 camera also managed to score high when it comes to capturing still image and video quality and again proved better than Pixel with one point. Aside from that, HTC's new flagship has bested Google Pixel in performance as well. Being powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835,  featuring microSD expansion and  HTC's latest innovation called Edge Sense makes it a better smartphone than Pixel which runs on Snapdragon 821 CPU.

It is very interesting to know that HTC manufactures Pixel for Google who is also developing Pixel 2 and rumored to manufacture Pixel 3, which may release in 2018, reports I-Tech Post. HTC U 11 is available for pre-order on HTC's website for $650.
