Consumer Product Safety Commission Announces Recall Of Samsung's New Galaxy Note 7

There has been a lot of speculations going on regarding the Samsung's next flagship Galaxy Note 8, however, latest rumors have increased the excitement among fans even more. The new smartphone by the South Korean giant is expected to release later this year and if the rumors are to be believed, the device will have similar dual camera setup as of iPhone 7.

In a report by Gizbot, Galaxy Note 8 may likely to feature dual camera setup with 12 MP wide-angle lens and a 13 MP telephoto lens, which will allow the user a 3x optical zoom. In fact, a few days ago, multiple prototypes of Samsung Smartphones with a dual camera were leaked online, which could've been the reason behind these rumors. And even though Samsung hasn't confirmed anything yet, it is most likely to adopt this feature due to its rave reviews during the Mobile World Congress.

And given the rising trend of dual cameras in latest smartphones and statistics released by CounterPoint Research, which states most top selling smartphones in China during Q1 2017 featured dual-camera, strengthen the rumors of Galaxy Note 8 having the same, since the demand in the market for such phones is quite high.

Some other speculations regarding Samsung Galaxy Note 8 include it having a big screen of 6.40-inch 4K AMOLED display, although it is assumed to be slighter than of Galaxy 8. According to Oigel, the phone is reported to be powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 9XXX processor and may come with 6 GB RAM and gigantic 256 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Note 8 is also expected to use the latest Android Nougat OS along with Samsung's own personal assistant Bixby. In a post by BGR, the highly anticipated and already popular smartphone could also have a fingerprint sensor on the back and look to dominate the mobile market in all categories.
