Hyung Eun Faces Backlash For Comments About BTS’ V, Reportedly Quits Bulldok After
Bulldok member Hyung Eun found out the hard way that one cannot simply just make careless comments about BTS members without major repercussions. The idol got a taste of ARMYs' wrath following comments about BTS member V on a recent internet broadcast.
It all happened when Hyung Eun made an appearance on BJ Rose's Afreeca TV live stream broadcast. This platform allows viewers to comment in real time, much like V Live broadcasts. During the show, one viewer commented and asked about BTS members. Hyung Eun then replied, "I totally lost interest in them," But she particularly singled out V, saying, "He was dancing but he must've had athlete's foot because he was wearing slippers..."
Unsurprisingly, Hyung Eun's comments were received negatively by BTS fans after the broadcast ended. She was quickly put under fire by netizens for talking about a senior idol group without the use of honorifics and implying that V had athlete's foot when in fact he was only injured. Shortly after the influx of criticism, BJ Rose deleted the video.
In an attempt to save face and pacify the angry netizens, Hyung Eun uploaded a video on her Instagram where she apologized for her comments. However, the attempt was futile as she eventually deleted all her posts and switched her account to private. Right in the middle of the controversy, it's reported that Bulldok will start promoting as a 4-member group without Hyung Eun. According to an exclusive Ilgan Sports news report, Hyung Eun's departure from the group is due to health issues.
Following the reports, netizens still did not cease from demanding a proper apology from Hyung Eun for her BTS remarks. Comments include, "Hyung Eun, please apologize properly before you leave the group. Your apology didn't seem sincere at all. You need to give proper feedback," and "She's sick.... Well, I hope you get better but you need to apologize to Tae Hyung before you go..."
It is still unclear whether Hyung Eun actually left because of her controversial comments about BTS as the official reports state a different reason. However, news of her exit from the group gained more attraction due to her statements against BTS.
