Kim Soo-Hyun Starring 'Real' Teaser Trailer Released
The teaser trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming South Korean movie "Real" has been released by the producers. The action thriller stars Korean heartthrob Kim Soo-hyun is the lead role, who was last seen performing a cameo in the 2014 film "Miss Granny". His last major role was in 2015s South Korean Sitcom "The Producers".
According to All Kpop, by the looks of the 30-second teaser, it is extremely high on action and suspense, although it didn't reveal much about the movie plot. The movie tells the story about a cruel man named Jang Tae-yeong played by Kim Soo-hyun who is blindfolded by the greed for success and desires to establish a casino empire in his colorful city. The character is good in dealing with illegal business, however, things change when he meets a former detective reporter, No Yeom played by Lee Gyung-young.
The movie is written by Lee Jung-sub and directed by talented female director Lee Sa-rang, which also stars Lee Sung-min (best known for his performances in movies like "Golden Time" and "Misaeng") and Sung Dong-il ("The Slave Hunters" fame). Actress Sulli will be playing a physical therapist named Song Yoo Ha and love interest of Jang Tae Yeong. "Real" also have a cameo by highly popular South Korean singers and actresses Bae Su-ji and Lee Ji-eun.
'Real" was supposed to be directed by Lee Jung-sub but later replaced by Lee Sa-rang who is the owner of the production company Real SPC. The movie is produced by CJ E&M who also distributed it with Alibaba Pictures. The action movie finished filming in six months and wrapped the project on June 30, 2016, in the corporation's resort Paradise City, Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
"Real" is currently one of the most anticipated South Korean movies of the year and will hit the theaters in South Korea in June.
