AMD Radeon RX Vega Release Date & Update: Shipment May Be Limited To Less Than 16,000 Copies
AMD Radeon RX Vega is the company's most awaited graphics card, which is expected to compete with the NVIDIA's latest similar hardware products. It is expected to released next month, however, the company might release a limited supply.
According to the PC Games N report, the AMD Radeon RX Vega could be a paper launch and less than 16,000 graphics card reportedly available on release. The hardwares are going to be pretty thin on the ground when the red team launches their brand new graphics architecture in the next few weeks with less than 16,000 cards initially available.
The AMD and its fabrication partner are reportedly experiencing difficulties in manufacturing HBM2 memories for the AMD Radeon RX Vega, causing the limited release of the supply. As the reports suggested, it is not a surprise that the GPU company is having problems with the HBM2 memories. The technology is relatively new apart from its really complex manufacturing requirements.
The HBM2, a second-gen high-bandwidth memory, which used in the AMD Radeon RX Vega to deliver speedy video memory is reportedly in very limited supply, which is both pushing up manufacturing costs and limiting the number they can produce. This will be the case until such time that the foundry has enough HBM2 memories to satisfy demands.
On the other hand, the AMD Radeon RX Vega is highly expected to launch next month. An event is going to be held in Taipei, Taiwan, the Computex 2017, and it is believed to host the launching of the AMD GPU card.
Other expected date for the AMD Radeon RX Vega to launch is during the E3 2017, which is set in Los Angeles Calfornia. This event will be held on the same month of the Computex 2017, but a few days later.
