The reports are coming from Economic Daily news Chinese edition that claimed that Apple has scheduled the iPhone 8 launch for September and the company will begin selling the products in October.
Besides, Digitimes has reported that the volume production of new iPhone 8 devices would be delayed to the fourth quarter of 2017 instead of the original schedule in September due to yield rate issues on the production of some parts. Also, the reports from Mac Rumors defined that server supply shortages can delay the production. But Apple can cope up with delay because of its active suppliers including Zhen Ding Technology, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, SLP, and Kinsus interconnect technology.
The iPhone 8 battery supplier Simplo Technology has already ramped up the parts starting this June according to the reports. And the Apple's A11 chip maker TSMC will begin to fabricate the production on June 10 and is scheduled to deliver the A11 chips in bulk quantity at the end of July. Apple has decided to embed A11 chipset which is the next generation of mobile processor and is considered as the fastest and the latest technology in the field of mobile devices.
Besides, Zhen Ding and Kinsus both the companies have improved the yield rates of their SLP products and will begin the production in June. On the other hand, iPhone 8 assemblers Winstron, Pegatron and Foxconn Electronics started hiring new workers in China in order to kick off the iPhone 8 productions in full swing.
Apart from the A11 chip, the iPhone 8 is expected to feature many innovative technologies like curved display, invisible home button, and wireless charger. The device is also expected to run on updated iOS version 10.3.2. The device should be special as Apple is going to mark its 10th successful year for manufacturing iPhone.
