Google Pixel 2 Release Date & Update: Android 8.0 Might Launch Along With The New Pixel This I/O Event
Google Pixel 2 is coming and although there is no official schedule when this device will be released, Google are now preparing for this new flagship phone. Along with this new smartphone, the all new OS is also expected to launch.
This May 17, the Google I/O annual developer conference event is set to be held in San Francisco, California. The I/O event showcases technical in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open sources such as Android, Chrome and Chrome OS, APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more. Is that so, the Google Pixel 2 is expected launch during this event.
The company hasn't yet confirmed the Google Pixel 2 phone in the upcoming I/O event, but experts says that there is a big chance that the anticipated device might really announced this month. As well as the new Android System, the Android 8.0 or also called the Android Oreo.
Just last month, Google reportedly dealing with the LG Display to propose an investment into their OLED Display screen to use in their upcoming Google Pixel 2. This technology is a flexible material commonly use to curved-screen display like we see in the Samsung smartphone device.
Based on this, it seems the I/O event seems too early for the Google Pixel 2 to launch, but as we mentioned earlier, the company hasn't yet confirmed any official details regarding to this upcoming device. The company might announce the phone this month as a surprise or set it to a later schedule.
In regards to the new Android 8.0, the new OS, which has been in speculations since last year, has a bigger chance to be released in this upcoming event. It might be launched without the Google Pixel 2, but tech experts are expecting this system this month.
