Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Specs, Features And Release Date In September
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a phablet everyone is waiting for. Samsung had a rather bad 2016 especially given its Note 7 fiasco. It has caused major headaches to the South-Korean tech giant. The company hoped that its recently-launched Galaxy S8, S8+ will revive its lost glory and that's exactly what happened. Now, the company is preparing the launch of its Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. A recent report suggests that the device is to debut in Q3 or in September of 2017.
According to a report published by PC Advisor, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to feature slimmed-down bezels and will most possibly flaunt a rounded-shape design. A larger screen is also expected in this year's Galaxy Note. The device is further expected to come with a newly-designed S Pen stylus.
On the display front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is widely believed to feature a 6.4-inch display panel with 4K resolution. This will be a logical move from the side of Samsung as the company is only associated with curved-screen technology and it will be nice to see the company experiment with something else.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also reportedly be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC and Exynos 9 series chipsets. Furthermore, on the storage front, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to offer 6GB of RAM. As far as the internal storage is concerned, no details have been revealed yet.
Separately, according to another report published by GSMArena, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone is expected to be powered by 3,500mAh battery. On the camera front, the device will apparently come with an updated camera system. It is highly possible that the device will feature a dual rear camera setting.
What's interesting to note is that the device might also be compatible with the company's VR headset. Lastly, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come packed with a fingerprint sensor as well.
