Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) Spotted On GFXBench Featuring Android Nougat
It looks like the Android 7.0 Nougat update is coming to the Galaxy A3 (2017) if GFXBench is to be believed.
It looks like the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will soon get the Android Nougat update. The smartphone - powered by Android version 7.0 Nougat - has been spotted on benchmarking website GFXBench. This indicates that the update is being tested by the company.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) with the model number SM-A320x was spotted paying a visit to the GFXBench running Android 7.0 Nougat. This means the new update is already in the pipeline and could be rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) smartphone real soon, as reported by The Android Soul.
To recall, last month it's bigger sibling the Galaxy A7 2017 has been spotted on GFXBench running Android Nougat. Now that the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) has also made it to the listing, so it is expected that company will roll out the update to all the three A series handsets at once.
According to GSM Arena, the Galaxy A3 (2017) was made official in January this year. The device runs Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) out of the box and features a 4.7-inch HD display.
Galaxy A3 (2017) is powered by an Exynos 7870 chipset and have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB. The smartphone has a 13MP camera on the rear side and an 8MP snapper at the front for selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) is powered by a 2,350mAh battery with fast charging and device offers 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, ANT+, USB Type-C, dual-SIM and NFC for connectivity. The smartphone also boasts a Fingerprint Sensor and measures 135.4 x 66.2 x 7.9 mm and weighs 138 grams.
Unfortunately, there's currently no information on exactly when the Samsung will push out the Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017). But if testing goes smoothly then it is expected that the update will arrive sooner rather than later.
