London police officers have arrested the second teenage hacker in the TalkTalk cyber-attack incident that happened a week ago, according to Tech Times.

The first hacker is 15 years old who was detained in Northern Island while the second hacker that has been arrested is 16 years old living in Feltham, West London. Both teenagers are connected to the hacking incident where valuable data are stolen, according to Tech Times.

The second hacker's arrest happened when the detectives search the Feltham address under the suspicion of Computer Misuse Act offences and was eventually released on bail, according to BBC.

The detectives had a warrant in hand before searching the teenager's location and the officers kept any information about the search confidential. The investigation of the evidence will take time before the officers can deliver complete information to the press regarding the situation.

"A criminal investigation was launched by the Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Unit following a significant and sustained cyber-attack on our website," a statement from TalkTalk was reported in Tech Times.

"We are continuing to work with leading cybercrime specialists and the Metropolitan Police to establish exactly what happened and the extent of any information accessed," TalkTalk continued.

The hacking incident was first publicly announced by TalkTalk last Wednesday to warn four million customers in securing their personal information against identity thieves, according to BBC.

The police investigation is still ongoing with joined forces of Police Service of Northern Ireland's Cyber Crime Centre and National Crime Agency. TalkTalk's company executives will take responsibility to answer questions about the cyber-attack from the British politicians. As of now, the company hired BAE systems to run its own investigation about the incident, reported in CNET.

TalkTalk hasn't commented about the ongoing investigation and the incident but is still assisting customers' concerns if affected by the hacking incident, according to CNET
