At long last, BlackBerry is ready to redeem its name once again as BlackBerry KEYone is made available in the UK market today. Sources told that after the device was presented at the Mobile World Congress, it was already made ready for purchase this week. As of today, London's Selfridges is the only location where consumers can get BlackBerry KEYone. With this, fans are asking: is the handset really worth it? When would it be made available in the US?

According to Express, the BlackBerry KEYone is currently the talk of the town as it offers features that couldn't be visible on other devices. News revealed that Selfridges would be the only store that would offer the said device exclusively up until May 5. After the exclusivity ends, the Carphone Warehouse would then start selling the KEYone.

Not just that, reports also confirmed that the smartphone would start selling in the US next month, from the well-known Sprint. The said carrier even promised that the pre-order of the KEYone would start late summer of this year. Meanwhile, speculations revealed that the unlocked KEYone would go on sale this Wednesday with a purchase price of $549. The units are even confirmed to be supporting both CDMA and GSM networks.

Other than that, the upcoming BlackBerry KEYone would also start selling in Canada. Reports revealed that carriers would start to accept pre-orders of the smartphone this May 18. Canadian carriers included in the pre-order would be Bell, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus Business and Bell MTS, which are reportedly offering a $199-worth of two-year deal.

For everyone's information, the BlackBerry KEYone would be having the usual physical keyboard, 12-megapixel camera, 4.5-inch touchscreen, and the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Also, The Verge reported that the device would be offering a 3,505mAh battery, sufficient to support a consumer's all-day activity. Not just that, the device also comes with the BlackBerry's suite of productivity apps.
