Iphone 8 rumors

Friday, April 28, 2017: Renowned technology and Mobile Phone leaker, KK Sneak: who has been leaking tech news and mobile features for quite some time now, posted another scintillating photo on his twitter handle. The photo allegedly shows a third party protective "iPhone 8" case for the new and upcoming iPhone 8.

The "iPhone 8" is rumored to have an OLED display, dual cameras, and many more features. The device is expected to launch around September which is the usual Apple cycle to release new products.

The leaked photo shows a protective "iPhone 8" case that has most of its design in conjunction to, and in line with the recent schematic leaks of the iPhone. The most prominent of feature that is currently noticeable on the third-party accessory is the cut-out for a vertical dual camera, which has been a long-rumoured feature on the upcoming "iPhone 8".

The "iPhone 8" case leak also suggests and supports the rumors about the front-running design of the new iPhone. Although the cut-out for the camera has changed, there is still no cut out for the touch id on the back. This leads many people and Apple followers to suggest that Apple will stick to its proprietary home button design, and will not relocate it on the back of the camera.

Everything else on the design seems pretty much in conjunction with the iPhone 7 design. The "iPhone 8" case suggests the placement of a longer than usual power button on the side, which keeps in line with the recent rumors about the phone.

Early case leaks have been fairly accurate during the release of iPhone 5, 5s, 6 and 7. Each time, the community and followers were able to decipher most of Apple's design plans beforehand through mere third party accessory leaks and schematic diagrams.

Reports suggest that Apple has been trying to push the envelope for its 10th anniversary by developing a new and innovative design for the new line of iPhones. It remains a matter of time, to see whether Apple opts for a new design as shown by the "iPhone 8" case leak or whether it sticks with the old iPhone 7 design.
