Apple MacBook Pro 2017 and Microsoft Surface Pro 5 are upcoming flagship laptop devices. Rumors and speculation regarding the devices are hovering in full swing. Both are reported to come with truly amazing specs and features. Apple and Microsoft might unveil the gadget with some significant changes.
Apple has released the last version of MacBook Pro in 2016 with a unique feature called touch bar. This time the company could come with radical changes in the design of MacBook Pro 2017. The laptop will be much sleeker and lighter in comparison to its latest version. On the other hand, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could lose its 2-in-1 laptop status. As per reports, Microsoft is looking to give a new look to the flagship laptop in order to compete with MacBook Pro 2017.
According to Forbes, Apple MacBook Pro 2017 might sport Intel Kaby Lake Processor. The said processor is reported to be one of the fastest processors. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has also recently predicted that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2017 will sport an Apple-designed chip. Reports suggest the chip is codenamed T310 and it will take care of battery consumption and handle applications. While Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is also rumored to feature the same processor.
Apple MacBook Pro 2017 is also rumored to mark 4K UHD display and Microsoft Surface Pro 5 took. 4K UHD display is still very rare in high-end devices so it will make the both gadget absolute killers.
In terms of connectivity, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is reported to get USB-C Type. On the other hand, Apple MacBook Pro 2017 could stick with its current versions connectivity options. Surface Pro 5 might run on the latest version of Windows 10, reports PCAdvisor. Apple MacBook Pro 2017 OS is not confirmed yet.
The price of both laptops is not confirmed. If reports are to be believed, Surface Pro 5 and MacBook Pro 2017 might be release in Q4 of 2017.
