Oppo F3 Release Date, News & Update: Everything You Need To Know Before May 4 Launch

Oppo F3 with a dual selfie camera is set to hit the store shelves in India on May 4. This announcement, which was posted on Twitter by the smartphone manufacturer is expected to cheer the selfie addicts in the country.

Oppo F3 Details Will Be Revealed In May

The Oppo F3 details, including its price and release date are expected to be revealed pm May 4. Meantime, based on the Chinese handset maker's official website description, the smartphone will keep the F3 Plus' dual camera setup. Incidentally, the company has reportedly worked together with the hit movie "Bahubali" to announce the device.

Oppo F3's image leaks, meanwhile, suggest a noticeable similarity on the front to the F3 Plus, and reports claim that the company has likely put the fingerprint scanner under the Home Button. Meantime, the smartphone will have a powerful hardware, paired with optimized software that offers better user experience. Moreover, the handset features a wide-angle camera in the front from selfies, including a 3,075mAh battery and a Color OS-based Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Oppo F3 is also rumored to be the smaller version  of the Oppo F3 Plus and will likely offer a lower price. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen its collaboration with "Bahubali" will have an effect on the smartphone,  although all details are expected to be announced on May 4, GizBot reported.

Oppo Offers A 4K Blu-Ray Player For Audiophiles

Oppo is offering a new product for the audiophiles - a 4K blu-ray player that is UHD-compatible and comes with a price tag of $1,299. According to reports, the UDP-205 is set to bring superior capabilities given its HDMI audio jitter reduction circuit, dual ES9038PRO DACs, and support for RCA and XLR connectors.

In terms of video capabilities, the device includes HDR10 supports, which has a promise for  Dolby Vision through firmware update in the future, a 4K standard for older content and support for a broader range of formats from 4K Blu-rays to audio CDs, The Verge reported.
