‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News: Summer Event To Include PvP Battles, Wearable AR Device & Numerous Small-Scale Events
"Pokemon GO" Easter event was experienced massive success. The event has created a lot of hope amongst the players when it comes to future events. Recently, Nintendo's Japanese Staff has disclosed certain important information about the upcoming "Pokemon GO" summer event.
In and interview with K-Tai Watch, Niantic's Asian General Manager Yoshiji Kawashima and Asian General Marketing Manager Kenji Suka has revealed that the developer has huge plans for "Pokemon GO" event this summer. They even stated that the players will see the update this summer and the company is currently working to develop an in-game mechanics before the event launches.
The two Niantic executives stated that they hope the "Pokemon GO" players are looking forward to this huge event this summer. Although the executives were not able to provide a firm date for the event, it is speculated that the event will include lots of legendary Pokemon, Player versus Player Battles and many other interesting elements.
After the interview, the speculation is started trolling the Internet and the gaming freak started discussing the possibilities of the event. According to Pokemon Hub, the "Pokemon GO" summer event might include player versus player battles, trading, and Raids. Although the company is currently working to offer an inbuilt mechanics for the raids and PVP battles, the event has a lot more to offer.
The company is even planning to partner with local government for promoting "Pokemon GO" summer event. Niantic previously took the help of local government for promoting its Lapras event in Japan for a good cause.
Besides, the company is even working to provide a more convenient and wearable AR device for the players. With the help of the device, the players can easily operate their game and manage their Pokemon. The Niantic executive even disclosed that there will be more small scale "Pokemon GO" water festival going on throughout the year.
