Surface Pro 5 Not Coming This Microsoft May Event, Release Date Of The Anticipated Laptop Still Unknown
Microsoft recently announced the upcoming spring event they called #MicrosoftEDU, and it is scheduled on the second day of May. In this announcement, many fans expected that the most awaited Surface Pro 5 laptop will be revealed, however, it was also confirmed lately that no Surface Pro 5 coming next month.
It's been almost two years since the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 was launched to the market, and now, it is reasonably ready for another update. The anticipated Microsoft Surface Pro 5, although has been in the speculations and rumors recently, has still no any official details on when might arrive.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 was also previously reported to be released alongside the Windows 10 Creator Update which launched on April 11, 2017, but as we see, the device is still in the mystery on when this would be launched. Probably this year, or maybe next year, Microsoft hasn't even yet any teaser about this laptop.
According to the Science Times, in relation with the Spring Event, the Microsoft company has claimed to receive a codename "Bespin" which was first thought as the Surface Pro 5. Unfortunately, it was not the most-awaited gadget, but a device focused on creativity and educational purposes.
The hashtag MicrosoftEDU is potentially signifying one of several areas, says Express. The "EDU" hashtag suggested education-focused things, which could mean a new version of the Surface Studio targeted at schools, colleges and universities.
Reports also claim that a new Windows 10-powered Chromebook, which have proved popular in schools around the world, could possibly launch along with the hardware releases. Microsoft is also thought to be using the event to unveil its new Windows 10 Cloud operating system.
The Windows 10 Cloud is thought to be competing the success of the Google's Chrome OS, and should also run Universal Windows Apps. The software could be ideal for educational institutions, allowing students and teachers alike to store resources and projects in the cloud, allowing for editing and collaboration across a number of different devices.
