Microsoft Profits Soar with Big Boost in Cloud Revenue

There will be a big event for Microsoft fans in New York City on May 2.  Although there were many speculations regarding the launch of the event, but now it has been officially confirmed.  The company often organized events for launching new Surface hardware.

As the event is official, yet there are many speculations regarding the launch of new Surface Hardware. There are huge speculations that Microsoft Surface Phone and Surface Pro 5 Tab are going to make its debut in the upcoming event. But according to Business Insider, sources close to Microsoft have confirmed that the much awaited Surface Pro 5 Tab and even much-awaited Surface Phone are not going to make their debut at this event.

Microsoft has decided to dedicate this event to education and creativity which might be based on this week's release of Windows 10 Creators update. Although there is huge speculation on the Windows software and hardware, still it is unclear exactly what this event is all about.

Currently, there is a tough competition to target the education market. Recently, Apple had launched a new entry-level iPad targeting educational institutes, students, and teachers. And Google's Chromebooks are currently trending the market.

It is highly expected that Microsoft is working on a new Surface Book laptop that is designed to target educational institutes. The company is even expected to ditch its iconic screen detachment design in the favor of traditional clamshell look. In short, the company is working on a streamlined new version of Windows 10 which is designed for the educational market.

Microsoft did not make any specification on its upcoming event, but it seems like a company is planning to launch something affordable and a more traditional laptop based on Windows 10 Cloud operating system. The company is aimed to defeat Google in the educational market.
