Samsung Explained The Hidden Theory Behind its Iris Recognition Technology

No doubt Samsung Galaxy S8 is an impressive device every launched in the history of mobile device world. Not only the consumers, but the smartphone makers are praising about the innovative piece launched by the South Korean Company. The device is stuffed with high-end features that are hard to find in any other mobile phones.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is full of innovative features and high-end specs. Although the phone is having current features of being a Samsung phone, it is also revealed some of the unique features that are or will not be found on any other smartphone device. Some of the unique features are infinity display, iris recognition, and invisible home button.

Recently, Samsung has shared a video which describes the effectiveness of using Iris recognition technology in the device. Samsung's iris recognition technology works by scanning and encrypting user's iris signature to provide a form of biometric authentication that simply cannot be restored and reproduced.

The possibility of having same iris pattern in the world is 1 in 10 to the 78th power. The current population of the world is 700 billion, which means that your eyes are truly your own and most likely unique in the world. Not only this, the iris pattern of your each eye is different from each other. It means that both the eyes from a different combination of different patterns for different people.

Before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 iris recognition technology was only used in high-security areas like security agencies, crime investigation branch, and aeronautics industries. Iris technology was only accessible for the top-notch professional in the world. But with the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8, the high-end security is available to common people in the world.

Samsung has brought the high-end security feature to IoT era with its Galaxy S8.  Now the consumers can use the security feature in their daily lives right from checking in for healthcare and travel to their everyday transactions.
