4 Interesting Facts About the New ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Movie

There is a lot of things revealed in the recent “Thor: Ragnarok” trailer that many fans may have missed. The movie is scheduled for release this November so while waiting, fans can read this article and learn more interesting facts about the movie.

As many may already know, Cate Blanchett will play as Hela who is a classic villain of Marvel Universe. She has been in prison for some time but will be released accidentally. Based on the trailer, Hela seems to have the ability to destroy Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, and banish him in a faraway place. But what’s really surprising is she gets even more powerful, based on her second outfit in the trailer, where she can possibly rule Asgard.

Meanwhile, Thor seems to be banished to a place where no one in this world or their world wants to be. He is sent to Sakaar which is a place described as a spot where all criminals are sent from different worlds. In the trailer, countless creatures are seen all around Thor who wants him to battle like a gladiator in an arena. The good news is, he will be battling Hulk but the bad news is, he doesn’t seem to remember him.

One great surprise for fans is the new haircut that Thor got in the movie. Although no explanation was given for the new look, it only changed after he was sent to Sakaar so it may have something to do with the rules there or something like that. He also meets the Grandmaster in the forsaken place which is played by Jeff Goldblum. Not many may know but the Grandmaster is one of the Universe’ Elders which includes The Collector from “Guardians of the Galaxy”. In Sakaar, he is the ruler and considered a god who has a great interest in chance games.
