Several fans have already been itching to get a copy of "The Winds of Winter" book despite the fact that the novel has been delayed for many times already. Now, new reports are claiming that the upcoming novel of George RR Martin is going to be the last book of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.

Poor Primadonna has previously reported that "The Winds of Winter" book could possibly face another delay on its release. According to the news outlet, George RR Martin has hinted that the much-awaited novel is going come out later than the expected date.

George RR Martin has claimed that he needs more time to do the things he should finish. According to "The Winds of Winter" author, he gets tired faster compared before when he was younger, which could explain why the much-awaited book has been delayed over and over again.

"So much to do. And the days go by so quickly. I love my work, all my work, all my projects, all my children, but sometimes it seems as if the harder I work, the further behind I get," George RR Martin said, hinting another delay in "The Winds of Winter" book. "Maybe things will calm down soon. But I am not holding my breath," the New Mexican writer went on.

Meanwhile, rumors have it that George RR Martin is actually having a hard time finishing "The Winds of Winter" book because it is going to be the end of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga. According to speculations, the veteran author might not even release the book this year and launch it before the "Game of Thrones" Season 8.

Korea Portal has previously reported that "The Winds of Winter" book might come out before the premiere of the "Game of Thrones" Season 7. It was even reported that the upcoming installment of the HBO series will not be based on the imminent novel.

However, it should be noted that George RR Martin has not yet released an official statement about these rumors; thus, fans should take everything with a grain of salt until it has been proven true and correct.
