‘BTS’ Got The Highest Brand Reputation For The 5th Consecutive Month Amongst Other Boy Groups
After the release of the best female group brand reputation list, it’s the boy’s turn and “BTS” has topped the list. This is actually the fifth consecutive month that the group tops the rank and their loyal fans are happy with the continued success of their idols. Based on the scores, the group scored 1 million higher than the second placer, Highlight, so it was a clear win.
According to reports, “BTS” was able to get a total score of 7,899,583 which is followed by Highlight with 6,782,585 points. The third placer is EXO with 3,453,582 and Seventeen with 2,942,013. The fifth placer is BTOB with 2,737,346 and Nu’Est at sixth with 1,486,937 points. Other boy groups that made it in the top 15 list includes Bigbang, GOT7, Winner, Shinee, NCT, INFINITE< Sechskies, VIXX, and Monsta X respectively. The 16th to the 20th spot was nabbed by Astro with 708,916 points, Block B with 671,282 points, Shinhwa with 532,249 points, B.A.P with 506,562 points and 2PM at the 20th spot with 466,762 points.
The ranking list was released by the Korean Reputation Center which is based on the performance of the groups from March 7 to April 8, 2017. The groups were judged based on different categories that include community score, participation score, and social media score. And when the scores are compared to last month’s performance, the total cumulative score went down by 5.48% which is equivalent to 41,393,643 scores.
“BTS” or also known as the “Bangtan Boys” is a group formed by Big Hit Entertainment and is made up of seven boys. The group debuted in 2013 with an album “2 Cool 4 Skool” where they won the New Artist of the Year Award in Golden Disk Awards, Seoul Music Awards and MelOn Music Awards. The following year, the group also won major awards for their album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1” and “Dark & Wild”.
