Adobe Illustrator & InDesign CC New Update Features New Tool & User Interface
Adobe released new updates for the Illustrator CC and InDesign CC with new features and improvements for the software performance. The Illustrator CC introduces a new image crop tool and the InDesign CC debuts a new user interface that's meant to be easier to navigate.
Adobe is celebrating their 30th anniversary, and along with this celebration, they issued new improvements to the professional designs. The update was announced recently by the company through their official blog.
According to the source, with the Illustrator CC new Image Crop tools, the software users now have the ability to immediately crop images placed into a document with intuitive crop handles. Very similar to the cropping tools in other Adobe products, like their flagship Photoshop CC.
The new Image Crop tool in the Illustrator CC comes with measurement tools and the usual dotted bounding line. In addition to inline image edits, the new cropping tool automatically discards unused image data to lessen the file sizes and improve speed and overall performance.
For the InDesign CC, the software gets a new UI that lets users jump between Adobe apps and flagship cloud features. A newly designed Document Panel is included for quickly starting new projects with document presets and recent document settings.

In the other news, the Adobe Sensei, the company's arm that fiddles around with AI and machine learning, releases a trailer for a new advanced app feature. This feature shows that it can improve selfie's using tools that apply artificial depth of field, tweak the perspective and steal aesthetics from other portraits, says the Verge. The company hasn't announced when this feature will be added in their current apps.
