The “Expandables 4” could be losing another main character, Arnold Schwarzenegger if Sylvester Stallone will not be in it. Both actors are the biggest action superstars of the 1980s and 90s so many of the movie’s fan are watching it for the sake of seeing them again in action. In addition, the name “expandable” is derived from Stallone’s John Rambo movie so it's really hard to see the movie without its two biggest stars.

According to reports, Schwarzenegger revealed in one of his recent interviews that he will not reprise his role as Trench if Stallone will not be in it. Both actors have been in the movie series since it started along with fellow action stars Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Mickey Rourke, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Charisma Carpenter, Eric Roberts, and much more. “There is no Expendables without Sly. I would never do the movie without him, no.” Schwarzenegger said.

Many fans are now asking if an “Expandables 4” can still happen without the two most iconic stars of the franchise. Without them, the movie will fully rely on Statham, Crews, and Lundgren. The only way for the new franchise to work is if they can get new action stars to join the movie. Schwarzenegger also revealed the shoot of the movie will start this August so the movie’s crew may already have a plan how to make things work with or without the two big stars.

“The Expandables” is a series of American action movies that was written and starred by Sylvester Stallone. The movie is created to give gratitude to the blockbuster movies and action stars in the 80s and 90s. The first movie was released in 2010, followed by 2012 and 2014. And in 2018, the fourth “The Expandables” movie is scheduled for release.
