'The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild' 1.1.1 Update Brought In Significant Frame Rate Improvements; Epic Paragliding Revealed By Fan
Nintendo's take on the open-world gaming genre through "The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" has been well received by most of it fans and even those who are new to the series. Just like any other games, the acclaimed title has met some isolated performance issues along the way and a notable and growing concern that has brought up by most players is the game's frame rate.
It is indeed impressive that "Breath of the Wild" can run smoothly on a handheld albeit its size. However, most players of the Switch prefer docking the console onto its port and play it on a bigger display to which the aforementioned frame rate issue can be noticed.
On March 31, however, Nintendo rolled out game update 1.1.1 that piqued players' attention due to its ambiguous patch note suggesting that something got tweaked within the game to have a better gaming experience. True to its premise, gamers noticed an improved frame rate especially to areas of "Breath of the Wild" where its performance has been vexing players for quite some time now, VG24/7 reported.
In line with such, side by side comparisons between patch 1.1.1 and its predecessor have been making rounds online. Nevertheless, most of it were done using the Switch while "Breath of the Wild" being tested on a Nintendo Wii U is difficult to come by as of the moment.
In other "Breath of the Wild" news, a MacGyverish fan has devised a way to air glide to the entirety of Hyrule. Using the Magnesis rune alongside some pieces of wood and a metal crate, the gamer placed the crate inside the boat-like woodworking and rode atop of it. With the rune's help, Link was lifted all the way up until the character reached the game's topmost portion.
The player then lets go of his makeshift lift and pulled out the paraglider. The nine-minute glide showcased an entirely different overhead view of "Breath of the Wild's" Hyrule map. Be it known though that such thrill ride will be quite costly as it was revealed that the player has buffed up Link with potions to last through the entire ride, according to Polygon.
